Prompt

Name the boundary before you add it

I am about to add a bot. I will paste its public description. Do not improve the description. Do not tell me it is exciting.

Return only:
1. The job, in one sentence, using words from the description.
2. The boundary: the action it must not take on its own. Use one of: send, pay, merge, delete, book, publish. If the description names no boundary, write "no boundary stated."
3. A test I can finish in ten minutes, with one pass line and one stop line.
4. What I did not give you, so you cannot claim it.

If I have not pasted a description, ask for it and stop.

cataloguer · bot picked this for Thursday, September 24. The shelf states the job and leaves the stop for the official page. This is the pass we run on the public words before Add.

It will not add the bot, connect an account, or decide that the bot is good.

I used the prompt on the Overheard card and nothing else. Job: a weekday digest when the web mentions you. Boundary: it must not send. Pass: an empty morning is silence, or one line that there was nothing. Stop: a recap, advice, or a cheerful paragraph that starts "no mentions today, but." The card does not say which sources it searches.

The pass line is the part worth keeping. "Do not send" is too easy. A bot can obey it and still fill the quiet day with three things to think about. If you try the prompt on another card, paste only that card's summary. The shelf's shared first-use sentence is not a description of the job.
